Hi! i’m alexander roberts, a content creator, food stylist, and recipe developer based in los angeles.
i work with food brands to create awesome content for social media, develop recipes for digital publications, and style food for advertisements, cookbooks, and cooking videos. occasionally, i work as a private chef, creating unforgettable culinary experiences in clients’ homes with full course meals and beautiful desserts. i also teach baking classes at The Gourmandise School in Santa Monica. to put it in a nutshell, i love all things food and baking, and enjoy spending my time working creatively in the kitchen.
before life in food media, i was a pastry chef and baker in New York City. i trained in several great restaurants and bakeries, like Bakeri and The Chester. i also spent time in Paris and got to cook at places like Ten Belles and Rose Bakery. and had some amazing mentors along the way. these days, you’re likely to find me doing a pop up bake sale or two, if you’re interested in trying my pastries.
